Recipe for a Knickerbocker Glory
2 scoops of homemade vanilla ice cream
A spoonful of homemade strawberry ice cream
4 tablespoons of homemade strawberry syrup
6 slices of Peach (canned)
3 pear halves (canned)
3 tablespoons of pineapple pieces (canned)
1 tablespoon cherries (canned)
1 tablespoon toasted almonds
whipped cream
To make a Knickerbocker Glory
Place two slices of colors and a pear half (cut in two) in a tall glass and add a spoonful of strawberry syrup.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and two more peach slices, another pear half, one tablespoon chunks of pineapple and a third of the cherries in the glass. Pour on top of another spoonful of strawberry syrup.
Add scoop of strawberry ice cream and fruit as above for the glass. Pour over the last spoonful of strawberry syrup
Add the last scoop of vanilla, the remaining pineapple chunks and cherries (leave a cherry for garnish). Cover with whipped cream
For decoration sprinkle the toasted almonds over the cream and put the last cherry on top.
