Desserts and Baby shower


Baby showers are not complete without sweets! Desserts, fruit and pastries add sweetness and charm to special events. Sweets are an important part of a baby shower, do not forget to include them in your menu. If you have reservations at a restaurant, the restaurant will probably offer a dessert menu from which you can select your choice of candy and after a meal indulgences.

If you host the baby shower for a banquet hall or at someone's home, the dessert menu is entirely up to you to decide. You can enjoy desserts, sweet, and baby suit your event theme. If a particular topic that you focus on, such as "Pink Tea" you make your dessert menu around your subject. Popular candy for baby shower cakes, eclairs, truffles, fruit, chocolate, and the always classic cake.

Cakes and éclairs can be bought or baked. Visit your local bakers, find out about special offers and deals they can offer for a large amount of purchased cake. You can also find some good recipes online or in a cookbook and bake cake itself. A good alternative is frozen cakes at your local grocery store, or better yet, to buy a wholesale grocery business. These are affordable and fabulously delicious. BJ's and Costco supermarkets have amazing éclairs that nobody will ever know, was purchased frozen.

Trufa is a Latin American version of truffles. Truffles are not necessarily made of chocolate in Hispanic countries, but can be made with coconut, vanilla and other flavors. Two popular varieties in Latin America is coconut and cocoa-flavored truffles. A simple recipe for truffles requires that one of sweetened condensed milk, a box with crushed vanilla wafer cookies and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Sweetened cocoa, coconut, and sprinkles are great add-ons.

Crush the cookies until you end up alone with cookie crumbs. Slowly to reach sweetened condensed milk until desired consistency of hard clay. Add the vanilla flavor with the chosen flavor (cocoa, coconut, etc.). Use your own taste, decide how much cocoa or coconut itself. Roll the small round truffles. Chocolate is a must-have for any baby shower. Small chocolates can be bought in large quantities and served on small cupcake cups for an elegant touch. You can melt (sold in bags in most craft stores) and pastel-colored white chocolate, melted it and pour the chocolate into small baby-themed shapes (even in a craft store). Fridge, and voila: delicate and adorable little chocolate!
