What does Christmas Signify to all of us?

Nobody can deny that Christmas is a special time of year. There are different sights, sounds and smells associated with this time of year, but the spirit of Christmas means different things to different people.

Christmas Day is recognized as the birth of Christ, and it is a very important day in the year for Christians. On the other hand reminds us of Christmas carols, nativity scenes and midnight worship. All these are important to Christians that they feel harmony and peace.

Chirstmas is important not only for Christians but for non-religious. Christmas spirit is connected with glittering snow, Robin, snowmen, Santa Claus joy, light, Christmas decorations, candles, crackers, roaring log fires, the list is endless. The essence of cinnamon are also available for many people Christmas to remember: yes, it is stated that the candles, carols and the smell of cinnamon is the thing that first call the Christmas spirit. Why do we use and smell cinnamon every Christmas? Well, for hundreds of years throughout Europe to the taste of Christmas cakes and pies, so its characteristic aroma is instantly recognizable.

Speaking of food, the list of the spicy dishes of Christmas are endless. Turkey, goose, mince pies, Christmas pudding and rich cakes, bread and cranberry sauce, sprouts, honey cakes, brandy butter, chestnuts - is enough to make you feel hungry!

Besides the variety of delicious food, made special drinks specially for Christmas - Egg Nog and mulled wine. Mulled Wine is basically red wine heated with sugar and spices, including Cinnamon is a (toe is added). Another egg is a mixture of milk, eggs, sugar, brandy and vanilla, and can be served warm or cold. Both drinks warm you on the nights of the cold, dark winter!

I think everyone would agree that Christmas is not Christmas without a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree has been associated with Christmas since the 16th century, and an angel or star is often at the top of the tree to display the Star of Bethlehem and the angels in the Nativity Church. The evergreen pine is most reminiscent of the Christmas spirit, with its distinctive pine scent. Today there are trees to suit any home, even modern black trees for the modern home.

The true spirit of Christmas was created by a little bit of all of the above. A wood fire, Carol singers on the market, flashing light in the window and delicious food, and everything to help a Xmas special occasion to drink. But the best part of Christmas is to spend quality time with family and friends, exchanging gifts bought carefully - after all, surrounded by those we love in such a special time is what Christmas is all about and remember the mistletoe!
