Get an isight on Beach Wedding Cake

When it comes to wedding cakes, long gone are the days of following tradition. Since you are planning a wedding cake, beach theme, you're obviously not a slave to those traditions.
So ... we move away from the "norm" and adventurous!

One thing to remember ... There are no rules! If ... well, rules are made to be broken. Your wedding cake beach theme can be anything you want!

What size?

How many clients do you want to be? If you have your cake professional can range in price from $ 2.00 to $ 15.00 per unit. A "slice" is normally regarded as 2 ounces, or about 4 "x 2". The price range will depend on how much intricate detail you want. If you choose the cake is very labor intensive, you can expect higher prices. If you're on a tight budget, keep it simple!

How?

A wedding cake, beach theme can be any size, shape or description. Be creative. If you have an idea for your cake, sketch it on paper and take this talented friend, relative or your chosen bakery. If you can imagine, anyone can do!

Do not limit your thinking about two or three layers of cake. It can be round, square, a sheet cake, a sculpted cake, individual mini cakes, muffins or cookies! Some brides even choose a cake with one or two layers on each individual wedding guest table rather than the traditional large cake at the table. It's a good idea, because it serves as a table. This eliminates the additional cost of a wedding centerpiece at each table!

Some things to keep in mind, but ...

* Since your reception may be on the beach, consider the sun! If you have a ceremony at dawn or dusk, the sun, probably not a factor. However, if your wedding in the afternoon have considered an "ornamental" cake. I mean, inedible, except perhaps the bottom layer if you and the groom plan to cut. You do not want your creation to melt!

* Consider draping your cake in a decorative manner with tulle to keep bugs and sand. It would be beautiful and practical.

* Purchase decorative, individual cake boxes. Fill them and perhaps tie your wedding program or thank them with a ribbon. Store them in a cooler until ready to send to your guests. They will serve as your wedding favors, killing two birds with one stone!

* Make your own wedding cake, beach theme! See the following "Duncan Hines" cake mix you buy. The instruction for making pulp cakesare levels there! You can do it. If you can not, I bet you know a friend who could! In every town there is a friend or "friend of a friend" who makes beautiful wedding cakes. It is a hobby for them. They continue to do so! Course they are always paid but not the ridiculous prices that a professional will charge.

So ... go ... find that friend!
