Visitors to a baby shower are always expecting something delicious to eat. If you're up to it can be very fun to make a cake shaped like a bottle or decorate a sheet cake to look like a crib.
If you like the idea of cake, but not to a bottle or a cot, you can use this simple recipe and easy to make delicious cupcakes baby shower.
Ingredients:
½ cup sugar
½ cup butter, at room temperature
2 eggs, at room temperature
1 tsp Milk Tea
1 cup flour
1 tsp teaspoon baking powder
½ c. teaspoon vanilla
pink food
blue food coloring
White cake frosting
A muffin pans coated with baking paper.
Preheat oven to 375 ยบ F.
In a medium bowl, mix butter and sugar. With an electric mixer beat together at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth. Then add milk and flour. Continue beating 4-5 minutes or until smooth. Add baking powder and vanilla and beat until well blended.
Divide the cake batter into two small bowl. In a bowl add just enough pink food coloring to turn the dough pink. In second bowl, add just enough blue food coloring to turn the batter blue.
Pour batter into muffin tins lined front.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
When done remove from oven and cool completely.
For the glaze.
Divide the white icing into two small bowl. Color one pink food coloring bowl and second bowl blue.
Ice cupcakes with frosting colored.
