Basic information on Baking tins

Everyone looks for an excuse to eats cakes. You do not really need one but it makes us feel better about ourselves if we can come up with a reason for having one. All I want to do here is spark your imagination because all too often people think that they can only bake a cake for a wedding, a birthday or Christmas but what type of cake do you want to make, what shape will it be?

You will often see cakes that look as though only the professionals could do them but that simply is not the case. With some time and good guidance anyone can not only have fun making cakes but also get a great sense of satisfaction when they get eaten.

Another great reason to bake is children. I have two kids, one of which has gone through the stage of making a nice mess in order to get cookies but my other child is only one so she still has to experience it. I must admit, at no other time would I reward my kids with cakes for making a mess!

Anyway, lets throw some ideas out there to get you thinking how you could treat a loved one (or yourself, don't worry I won't tell anyone).

Easter Time

What do you think when Easter comes to mind? Okay, apart from chocolate. If you spend some time looking around you can find baking tins in the shape of Easter eggs, baking trays for making small bunny shaped cookies. I even saw a baking tin for making a 3D bunny.

Christmas
Christmas is a great time for putting on some weight so why not do it with cakesin the shape of Santa or snowflakes? What about a cake in the shape of a gift box? Again there are lots of shapes available.
There are loads of different shaped baking tins available but do not stop here. Keep going
