Lovely Chocolate Cake Recipe for this summer



A type of chocolate cake that is sure to receive rave reviews are great Black Forest cake, an old-style recipe that originates from Germany. The following chocolate cake recipes and tips, you and your family or dinner in a dress they soon forget.

The recipe for Black Forest Chocolate Cake

Cake Ingredients:

A half cup softened butter;

And a quarter cup of sugar;

Two eggs;

And a four cup all-purpose flour;

A half cup of unsweetened cocoa (powdered)

Half a teaspoon baking powder;

One teaspoon baking powder;

Teaspoon vanilla;

Three-quarters cup of buttermilk;

Cake Filling Ingredients:

Two cans of cherry pie filling;

Three cups of whipped cream, chilled;

A quarter cup of sugar confectionery;

Shaved chocolate to garnish the cake;

Tips and Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for the first time;

2. Nine Inch Line a cake tin with non-adhesive paper;

3. Using an electric mixer beat butter is softened by allowing room temperature and sugar together until fluffy;

4. Add one egg at a time, mixing well after each egg is added.

5. Add sifted flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and buttermilk. Mix until batter is smooth with no lumps.

6. Pour the batter into cake pan and line bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until center is set. Approximate cooking time is forty-five minutes to sixty. 7. Once the cake has cooled take a long serrated knife and cut the cake into three layers, similar in size. Tip: The cake is easier to cut when you keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Prepare pie filling:

1. Take a strainer and let the cherry pie filling to remove most of the heavy juice.

2. Whip the sweet cream adding sugar until thick.

3. Shave chocolate with a vegetable peeler. Place the shaved chocolate in the refrigerator until you are ready to assemble cake.

Cake Assembly:

1. Place the first layer on the board.

2. Spread about 1 / 4 of whipped cream on the first layer and add half the cherry filling on top of cream.

3. Add the second cake layer spreading quarter of the cream plus the rest of the cherry filling.

4. Add the third cake layer and spread further quarter of the cream on top and the fourth side response to the cake. Gently press chocolate chips on top and sides of cake.

Tips:

• If you use three tins for the layers, as opposed to one of the baking time should be reduced.

• The use of traditional cake flour instead of all-purpose flour will make your chocolate cake much lighter and airier.

• If you do not cherry pie filling, you can substitute jam.
